Google’s Interactive Map of Shelters, Power Outages, Evacuation Routes, Weather Alerts, and Relevant YouTube
Google’s Crisis Response team put out a great interactive map that includes real-time data from The Red Cross, the NYC Office of Emergency Management, the National Weather Service, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, YouTube, FEMA, and others. You can overlap as many of the following as you like:
- Power outage information
- Emergency shelters Red Cross shelters
- NYC evacuation centers
- Storm surge probability, over 6 feet
- Weather radar (precipitation)
- Cloud imagery Webcams and YouTube videos
- Weather and observations
- Public alerts Hurricane evacuation routes
